Ari will appear as a guest on WJR’s Come to the Table program. The show features Michael Stern, co-author Of 500 Things To Eat Before It’s Too Late: And The Very Best Places To Eat Them which highlights Zingerman’s Roadhouse.

July is Bacon Month here at Zingerman’s. We’re celebrating the publication of Ari’s Zingerman’s Guide to Better Bacon with bacon events and specials all around the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses. We’ve got loads of bacon specials at the Deli including punch cards for our bigger-than-ever selection of great bacons from around the country. From Benton’s in Tennessee to Edwards in Virginia to Nueske’s in Wisconsin and more great cured pork from Herb Eckhouse in Iowa.

Oh, and the Tour de Bacon is going strong with free shirts [pdf] going out to anyone who visits each Zingerman’s retail location (Deli, Roadhouse, Creamery and Bakehouse) in a 24-hour period and gets their passport signed. Here’s a map [pdf] to help you get there.

Also, at the end of the month, we’re celebrating a visit from Sam Edwards from Surry, VA who will help us support the Southern Foodways Alliance with a special bacon dinner at Zingerman’s Roadhouse on July 28.
