Zingerman’s Delicatessen and Detroit Bikes are joining forces to celebrate National Bike Month. The companies designed a limited run of custom Zingerman’s Deli Pickle Bikes, each covered in 160 hand-placed pickle decals. Pickle and bike lovers alike are invited to enter to win one of two custom pickle bikes at zcob.me/picklebike before May 31, 2019. The lucky winners will also win a Zingerman’s gift basket (with a total prize value of $1,000). Winners will be announced the week of June 3, 2019.

“The Zingerman’s Deli Pickle Bikes are a fun symbol of our commitment to supporting and nurturing Ann Arbor’s healthy bike commuter culture,” said Rodger Bowser, managing partner of Zingerman’s Delicatessen. “We love welcoming our guests who arrive on wheels. The Deli hosts bike tune-up workshops and offers a bike pump, a bike tool kit and a covered bike-locking station. Beyond the Deli, bike-locking stations are available across Zingerman’s community of businesses.”

Deli pickles are a cyclist’s best friend – a delicious, portable source of electrolytes and an excellent cramping remedy. Stop into Zingerman’s to try its ‘old’ and ‘new’ deli pickles to boost your ride snack game, and your biking performance, the next time you’re at Zingerman’s Deli Patio.

“Detroit Bikes is excited to collaborate with Zingerman’s Deli to create this playful, limited run of custom bikes. We love working on creative projects like this, especially if they encourage more people to ride bikes,” said Zakary Pashak, owner of Detroit Bikes. “Detroit Bikes is the only company in America that creates multiple sized runs of affordable custom bikes.”
