What are the 6 Steps to Getting Hired at Zingerman’s Community of Businesses (ZCoB)?

  1. Submit a completed application.
  2. Stand by for an invitation to interview.
  3. If invited, participate in an initial interview.
  4. If invited, participate in a second interview and provide references.
  5. If selected, work a trial shift (you will be paid for this time.)
  6. If offered, accept the job and schedule a start date!

Did the job application system change recently?

YES! Thanks for noticing! We are working to give GREAT service to our applicants every time. We upgraded our online application tracking system to help give you better service in applying for jobs. We have answers to a few questions you may have below. If you need any help, please feel free to contact us.

With our upgraded system, you will need to fill out an application for each job you are interested in. Don’t worry, the system will remember questions you already answered and will copy over your answers to your new application. You can change the information or leave it.

Can I apply for multiple positions?

Sure! Just click “Apply Now” at the bottom of each job posting.

What if I want to apply to a business in general instead of applying for a specific positions?

At this time, you must select an open position to submit your application online. We hope to be able to offer a way to apply for future opportunities in the future.

I have a friend that does not have internet access. How can someone apply that does not have the ability to go online?

There are many resources to your friend that provide free computer use and internet access such as local libraries, schools, etc. Your friend can also visit the business in person and request a paper application – it’s no problem!
