Speaker Series continues at ZingTrain

speaker-series-speech-bubblePlease join us this Wednesday, March 12, 730am-930am for another thought-provoking session of the ZingTrain Speaker Series. This week’s session will feature Dean Tucker, author of the Using the Power of Purpose, who will speak on the topic: Understanding Gen X & Gen Y. Ari frequently recommends Dean Tucker’s book as a…well, powerful read. As a management consultant, and nationally recognized author and speaker, Dean knows how to draw incisive conclusions about the phenomena he is witnessing and better yet for those of us who have the opportunity to learn from him, Dean knows how to use those conclusions to suggest positive behavior changes. In this much-needed talk, Dean will talk to us about Gen X and Gen Y – what motivates them and how to effectively manage them.

A Night with Zingerman’s Creamery

cheese-creamery

For thirteen years, the Creamery has been making small batches of artisan cheeses from local cow’s and goat’s milk. Our team of cheesemakers continue the process of making quality, hand-crafted cheeses with love. From the delicately hand-ladled fresh City Goat to the slightly stinky, rich and creamy Manchester, you won’t be disappointed. Come join us this Friday, March 14 at 7pm at the Creamery as cheesemaker Stephanie, and cheesemonger Nikky take you on a guided adventure into our cheeses.

Hamentaschen at Zingerman’s Bakehouse

bh-feb2013-homepage-ads_09

A bright spot in the middle of winter is Purim, the Jewish holiday which celebrates the triumph of Persian Jews over the wicked minister Hamen. Purim brings hamentaschen, the traditional, three-cornered pastry pockets, stuffed with sweet filling. One of the best of Jewish sweets. These beautiful little triangularly shaped cookie pockets are stuffed with an array of our favorite fillings. This month we’re baking apricot, prune, poppy seed or vanilla bean cream cheese filled. It’s hard to go wrong with a hamentaschen at any time of the day. Also available gift-boxed.
Erev Purim is March 15th
