The September Spotlight is on Washtenaw Literacy!

Washtenaw Literacy partners with adult learners to develop their skills and pursue their goals by providing free literacy support through a network of trained volunteer tutors.

Washtenaw Literacy believes literacy is a basic human right and the foundation for an equitable and inclusive community. They serve 1,000 learners a year through the efforts of 400 volunteer tutors, who provide individualized support to adults in reading, writing, math, digital literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL).
