Sicilian Chef Gioacchino Passalacqua Comes to Cornman Farms for “A Taste of Italy”
Cornman Farms welcomes special guest chef Gioacchino Passalacqua all the way from Sicily for a special dinner on January 12. The dinner will includes multiple courses with wine parings and features special foods imported from Italy. Chef Gioacchino will also work with Cornman Farms’ Executive Chef Kieron Hales to incorporate the farm’s winter produce, highlighting the fare of the region while offering an authentic taste of Italy right here in Michigan.
Chef Gioacchino is the founder of ATTavola, a food business that exports artisanal goods around the world from Tuscany, Veneto, and Umbria to name a few regions—and, of course, Sicily. We met him years ago as we were searching for great Italian foods to bring back to the Deli. He knows the island better than anyone we’ve found, and his passion for his native cuisine is addictive. Zingerman’s Food Tours has teamed up with Gioacchino as we guide adventurous travelers on insider’s tours of Sicily, Puglia, and Piedmont and more.
And, now here’s your chance to experience his expertise! Reserve your seat today. Read all about last year’s dinner right here.
