Special Seasonal Collaborations with Molly Yeh
Meet Our Latest Tastemaker

Launched last summer, our Tastemaker Series spotlights influential culinary voices through highly personal product collections that reflect how they cook, eat, and gather. Every few months, a new individual teams up with us and personally curates a special Zingerman’s Mail Order gift box. If, like me, you love knowing what foods fellow foodies are into, these collaborations will be right up your alley. Past tastemakers have included Jon Kung (Ortiz tuna), Dan Pashman (Zingerman’s Sea Salt Potato Chips), Matt Rodbard (Zingerman’s Pimento Cheese), Abra Berens (Sour Cream Coffee Cake), and Anna Hezel (Pistacchiosa Cream).
Each time we collaborate with a tastemaker, they get to handpick an armful of their favorite foods from our shelves. It has to fit into a box so we can ship it to you, after all. The lineup is always different, since we all like different things, but every box reflects a shared passion for seriously flavorful food. Each Tastemaker Gift Box is around for a limited time (like our newest one with Molly Yeh!), so make sure to catch each one while you can.

Molly Yeh x Zingerman’s Tastemaker Box
Chances are, you’re already familiar with Molly Yeh, but if not, let us introduce you. Molly is an Emmy Award– and James Beard Foundation Award–nominated chef and cookbook author, and the beloved host of Food Network’s Girl Meets Farm. Known for her playful recipes, creative comfort food, and signature blend of Midwestern and Chinese-Jewish flavors, she brings a fresh, fun twist to farm life!
A New York Times–bestselling cookbook author, Molly has penned Sweet Farm!, Home Is Where the Eggs Are, and Molly on the Range. Her award-winning lifestyle and food blog, my name is yeh, was named Saveur’s 2015 Food Blog of the Year, inspiring home cooks to get creative in the kitchen.
Clearly, Molly shares our love of good food, so we were thrilled to get to partner with her for our Tastemaker Series. How did she choose what to include? We’ll let her fill you in herself:
I probably don’t need to tell you this, but food is the ultimate holiday gift. Not just because my kids don’t need more Legos (and I don’t need to step on any more Legos), but also because there is absolutely nothing (nothing!) better than dragging in a snow-covered box from the front stoop, sitting on the floor around it with my kids, and revealing tasty new treasures that we can ooh and ahh and giggle around as we taste-test every single cookie and cracker.
We have the time of our lives in moments like these and build memories that are true highlights of the holiday season—no parties or fanfare needed, just our little family with a pile of noshes. So, to be more specific than food as gifts, I actually mean that snacks are the ultimate gifts. Things you can eat immediately upon opening your box so that you and your loved ones can get instant satisfaction.
Don’t get me wrong, receiving a full-ass brisket on dry ice is awesome. In April. When I’m not in the midst of the busy holidays. But in December, I want chips, nuts, dried fruit, chocolate—anything that can go straight into my mouth before I even put the box cutter back in the drawer.
I’m so excited for you to try these items, not just because you’re about to experience major deliciousness, but also because you’re about to create some darn good memories with whomever you share them with.
From my snack-obsessed self to you, happy holidays!
The Molly Yeh & Zingerman’s Collaboration Box includes Hebel Halva Peanut Butter Chocolate Crisp (Molly’s collaborative flavor with Hebel & Co.), a Dulce de Leche Brownie from Zingerman’s Bakehouse, a Zzang!Ⓡ handmade bar from Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory, black sesame popcorn, and so much more!
